Back to my reasoning. Whilst other companies were programming for more popular areas of Google this meant that these platforms were becoming saturated with submissions meaning more and more choice for Google's end users, which in turn makes it harder and harder to get people using their software.

You can look at this in the same way as if you were to try and reach the top of the Google search engine for the most sought after and popular keywords. You'd be fighting against millions of others trying to do exactly the same ... but if you choose to target less popular keywords your chances of success multiply many, many times over.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with advertising, SEO, Adwords, Adsense or Pay Per Click ... I can GUARANTEE you WILL NOT have to pay a penny in advertising.

Meanwhile my chosen route has less programmers for this particular platform which in turn means less choice for the end user. This is great for us as it makes it a relatively easy job to get noticed by these users. And don't forget ... these still number in the TENS OF MILLIONS ... more than enough for you and I.

The area of development I have chosen to exploit is also growing in popularity as Google are keen to see it grow (especially with the introduction of their G Phone which will become an extention of My Traffic Strategy).

Here's my story … I'm purposely keeping this brief, if I told you the whole story, everything I have gone through to get to where I am you'd be on this page for the next 2 days!

Ever since I first started out on the Internet I have been a constant fan of Alexa, although I would not always agree that the traffic reporting is 100% accurate, it does give a very good indication of where a website is heading and just how popular it is.

The following screen shot will back up my website statistics shown in the first screen at the top of this page.

This top screen shot details the first leap in traffic when I introduced My Traffic Strategy in early May 2008. This jump constitutes a leap in traffic of almost 7 times the previous month, from around 6000 to over 40,000 in just one month. Each month thereafter we have seen between a 20% and 30% increase settling to 10% between August and September (traditionally quite months).

What you need to remember is that My Traffic Strategy kicked off in early May 2008, and since then that traffic hasn't slipped back. This is not just a one-off hit through some fancy once-in-a-lifetime technique; the traffic is compounding each and every month ... whatever I do each month simply adds to the previous month's visitors.

I Used To Hate Adsense!

Well, that was until My Traffic Strategy was perfected.

If you are a Google Adsense publisher you will be familiar with the report shown below. Note the increase in page impressions from Monday 8th September onwards ... from next to nothing to 1004 impressions the very next day.
